Digital Content

While live production was prominent, I also controlled podcasting and the curation of blog posts to capture additional ratings. Longform segments were edited to digestible content that encouraged engagement with digital platforms, as well as drove listeners to the main product.

From November 6, 2023 - October 4, 2024:

  • Created 860 digital posts

  • Garnered 98,740 page views with users averaging 18 minutes per post

  • Held 17% of all page views on SportsTalk790.com

  • Ranked 2nd amongst individual authors.

Social Post Examples

By utilizing the station's resources, I often attended professional sporting events to booster social media reach, capturing video and audio and adding commentary in a productive manner to be repurposed for on-air content.

Television Simulcast

I earned experience in television and graphics production by furthering a partnership between the afternoon drive program and Space City Home Network, the broadcast home of the Astros and Rockets, to create a live simulcast that airs for three hours every weekday.

THE JANUARY LANTERNS

The January Lanterns are a husband-and-wife duo - their debut album, “For the Kids When They’re Older,” was born from early morning music sessions on their deck. And as parents of young kids they say their music has become a form of therapy – and love.

THE BURNEY SISTERS

The Burney Sisters are Olivia, Emma and Bella, three siblings who grew up constantly surrounded by music. Lessons started at a young age, and as they get older, their music has gotten more complex and mature. The Burney Sisters came by KBIA's Studio B to talk with me about their inspirations, growth as songwriters, and their future plans as a trio.

WILLIAM RUSSELL WALLACE

William Russell Wallace is a singer-songwriter originally from Cincinnati, Ohio, but he’s traveled all over the country, living and touring in many places, and he says all of those places are connected to his life and growth as a musician.
